How I killed my addiction
I tend to become addicted.
I used to skip sleep on weekends to watch a series of dramas.
I spent several hours playing a mind game after I was told I was #1 on the leadership board, and I wanted to continue testing my logical reasoning ability.
If I am not careful, I can become addicted to many things.
I am no exception when it comes to being hooked.
The dopamine "injection" feels good.
Here is how I killed my addictions:
1️⃣ I don't ever start watching a drama series because I know I'll try to finish it overnight
2️⃣ I deleted the game app from my device because I know I won't have the discipline to just play for 15 minutes.
3️⃣ I set time limits on all social media so that I don't mindlessly scroll.
4️⃣ I don't have junk food in my pantry, so I don't need to attempt it.
