Networking
When you go to a networking evert, what’s the first thing do you do? Do you scan the room and look for people you might know? Do you search for people who might be in your similar demographic? If you are young, what does it feel if you step into a room full of people much older than you? If you are a women, what does it feel if you enter a big meeting room full of men? What’s your purpose for a networking event? What’s your feeling? What’s your goal? What’s the end result?
What if you going into a networking event with curiosity? What if you have a goal of learning from everyone you encounter? What if you have passion to share your knowledge with anyone you meet? What would be the end result?
Don’t fight forces; Use them
“Don’t fight forces; Use them.” - Buckminster Fuller
How many times in life have you fought forces? When there is a change, do you embrace it and find opportunities or do you fight it until you feel tired and lost? When things don’t go your way, do you look at them from a different perspective or do you fight them and try to prove that you can’t be wrong and can’t fail? During COVID-19 shelter at home, did you feel frustrated and anxious or did you take the time enjoying luxury family time, and reading, and learning? What could change if you master to use the forces instead of fighting them?
Be yourself
It all begins with an idea.
“The purpose of life is to know yourself and love yourself and trust yourself and be yourself.”
How many of us are living this purpose?
What’s preventing us from living it?
How much do you know yourself and your potential?
How much do you love yourself like you love your loved ones with a caring heart?
How authentic are you being yourself?
